April in Paris Amelie Collection

I've been admiring Beatrice Amblard's work for many years and I used to peruse her luxurious leather goods whenever I was in the neighborhood. Her daughter, Amelie, is now continuing the legacy of her mother's artisan profession by introducing her own leather designs.

Naomi Tote

The Amelie Collection consists of five basic designs, which include a backpack, tote, shoulder bags and a clutch. Hand-stitched and designed in their San Francisco atelier, each bag takes 20-35 hours to complete. The fun colorblock trio of orange, red and taupe will go so well with neutrals. The bright red is so gorgeous against the taupe!

Sienna shoulder bag

I love the Naomi Tote ($2,800). It's the perfect size if you're carrying a laptop and the tab closure keeps everything in place. If you're looking for a stylish bag for work, this one's it. The Sienna shoulder bag ($2,200) has a detachable strap and the simple geometric design keeps things fresh and modern.

For just a few more days, you can get 20% off any item from the Amelie Collection. Use the code Amelie2016 through August 1.

NARS Powerfall Fall 2016 Makeup

It's hard to think about fall beauty when it's so hot outside, but NARS just presented their Powerfall 2016 fall makeup collection. And as usual, it's a good one.

Fans of the Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow ($29) will love the new shades. Antares, an iridescent white gold, is gorgeous on its own but I love to pair it with Arcturus, a shimmering indigo. Color payoff is great—both are so pigmented I didn't even use a wet brush.

The new Velvet Eyeliner ($24) is another highlight. Nine flattering shades are available and I'm in love with the smooth and creamy formula. It almost feels like a gel liner so it won't drag on the delicate eyelid. The London (stormy grey) and Kaliste (teal green) are my favorites—such pretty options for a modern look.

Bold matte lips are back and the Velvet Matte Lip Pencil ($26) in Infatuated Red will make a huge statement for fall. The limited-edition garnet shade is lightweight, non-drying, and won't rub off for many hours.

The Powerfall collection is available at all NARS boutiques, counters and www.narscosmetics.com

TATCHA Luminous Overnight Memory Serum Concentrate & Deep Hydration Firming Eye Serum

TATCHA is a fab skincare line and I've enjoyed many of their products in the past. Recently I've been using the Luminous Overnight Memory Serum Concentrate ($110) and the Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Eye Serum ($95), both of which are excellent to fend off fine lines and wrinkles.

Designed as a concentrated version of the popular Luminous Dewy Skin Mist, the Overnight Memory Serum Concentrate contains 7 botanical extracts to restore a youthful appearance. Once the gel warms up on your skin it absorbs instantly. A tiny spoonful is enough for me and I wake up to firm, glowing skin. My face looks so moisturized I could skip day cream if I really wanted to. This one's an absolute must if you travel a lot—it's the perfect antidote to dry airplane skin!

The Deep Hydration Firming Eye Serum is weightless in texture. Made with Okinawan red algae, honeysuckle leaf and caffeine, your eyes will firm and plump up in no time. 23-karat gold dust is included to brighten up the eye area, making this a luxurious treatment. It's also great under makeup, making it ideal for hot weather.

Try the travel sizes ($30-33) first before committing to the regular versions—they should last a few weeks.

Dilettante by Hiram Green

Bright, fruity, and floral, Hiram Green's newest eau de parfum, Dilettante, celebrates different facets of the orange family. I'm always fascinated with what natural perfumers come up with and I love being able to experience their creations. In this case, I happen to love orange so it didn't take much for me to fall in love with this perfume.

Hiram Green's Dilettante, featuring a new bottle design.

Featuring a deceptively simple blend of orange blossom, petitgrain and orange essential oil, the natural fragrance captures the essence of summer. It feels light and breezy, yet contains a green spiciness that's not usually found in a typical citrus-based perfume. It's a sweet and sexy composition and I would happily spray this all summer long.

Available in a 50 ml bottle for €135 at hiramgreen.com. Dilettante can be pre-ordered at Luckyscent.com ($165) in the U.S.
