Bright Eye Makeup for Spring

It's time to break out the bright eyeshadows! Nothing's more fun than wearing bold makeup to reflect the spring season. Here are a few ideas below for inspiration:

I love the chartreuse look. Done carefully, it can be an elegant showstopper for any special occasion. They key is to choose a shade that complements your skin tone. Also, be sure to use a light layer of eyeshadow and add more product as needed.

Paired with winged eyeliner and bright red lips, this light turquoise evokes a retro glam that's timeless and sexy. For more oomph I'd add some false lashes to make your peepers really stand out.

A perennial favorite, purple is always a popular choice. Using a darker hue (grape or eggplant) will add a lot of feminine drama.

If you don't have all the necessary products to create these looks, Target has a vast array of colorful options to complete your spring beauty collection. For example, the L'Oreal Colour Riche Shadow Quads ($6.99) are an easy way to update your seasonal makeup collection.

According to Pantone, the color authority, emerald is the color of the year. To wear this hot shade without spending too much money, the Maybelline Color Tattoo 24HR Eyeshadow ($4.99) in Edgy Emerald is the perfect way to replicate this year's trend.

Need a complete eye makeup revamp? The Sonia Kushuk Instructional Eye Palette ($19.99) offers twelve colorful shades to create any look you desire.

It’s Time for Springtime.

Whoa, those are bright. I do love purple, though. It's surprising how flattering it is on just about anyone.
