Camper Shoes S/S 2010

Oh, I wish I'd never looked at the Camper website. Really, I did try to resist but their siren call was just too strong.

Some of their Spring/Summer 2010 shoes are way too cute for words. Their quirky flats from the TWS (Twins) collection are always popular. I'm guessing these new ones will sell out fairly quickly.

These darling ballet flats are screen printed with butterflies, bees, and flowers. Sooo pretty. I imagine gamines everywhere would want these as part of their new spring wardrobe. Given my semi-klutzy tendencies, I do wonder if the print will be easily scratched up from normal wear.

Upon closer examination, it seems that the insects are embroidered onto the leather. This is why this shoe company has been around since 1877. From their whimsical designs on their rubber soles to their seemingly mismatched details, their unique design sensibility truly stands out from the rest.

Since I already own four pairs of Campers, I can't really splurge on these new designs. I have to exercise some self control!

OMg for the first time ever I think I'm lusting after some Campers...those scalloped ones are gorgeous, as are the yellow suede print ones... and you can bet they'd be comfy too...
