Givenchy Je Veux La Lune Fall 2011 Makeup

Givenchy's fall-winter 2011 makeup collection, Je Veux La Lune, is the glamorous holy grail for this season's goth sirens. Glowing, moody eyes, a pale complexion, and blood red lips rule the look.

The brand is well-known for brilliant packaging and their new Les Ombres De Lune Shadow & Light Eyes compact is another great example. The dramatic combo contains an intense buildable eye shadow with a talc-free illuminating powder for cheeks, eyes, and face. This comes in two palettes: Lune Mystérieuse (black with pearlescent white) and Lune Mordorée (navy blue with golden yellow).

The powder from Lune Mystérieuse can be used as a sculpting primer for the lips. Paired with the lovely  Magic Khol Eye Liner Pencil in 16 Marine Blue, sexy eyes can be yours within a few minutes.

Since the eyes are such a huge focus, the lips can be toned down with the Gelee d’Interdit Smoothing Gloss Balm Crystal Shine in 15 Lune Argentée. The sheer iridescent pink is awesome for layering on top of dark red lipstick, or you can add a few dabs of Gloss d'Interdit Ultra-Shiny Color Plumping Effect in 31 Lune Carmin for a more vampy effect.

The entire Je Veux La Lune collection is now available at Sephora, Sephora.com, and Givenchybeauty.com.

For editorial consideration, review samples were provided for this post.

Whoa! That is some dramatic looking makeup. I think if I did up my eyes that smoky, my husband might think someone punched me in the eyes. ;)
