Givenchy Vintage Holiday 2010 Makeup

Givenchy is going the classic route for this holiday season. Festive red is the dominant color, with a bit of silvery grey and black as a supporting role. The star product, Le Prisme Collector Sparkling Powder, is a limited edition face and décolleté powder that's housed in a luxurious faux crocodile box. The iridescent light rose powder is also scented with floral water. A soft pink powder brush is tucked underneath, and Hubert de Givenchy's signature on the mirror adds a vintage and elegant touch.

For the lips and nails, we get to use a lot of vibrant holiday red. The creamy Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick in Vintage Carmine is more of a deep brick red, while the Vintage Ruby Gloss Interdit is an ultra glossy cherry red. Both items are very pigmented and wearable for many skin tones. The lipstick is great for daytime, and the gloss is perfect for all the fun soirées.

With such bright lips, the eyes are balanced out with basic colors. The Vintage Silver Le Prisme eyeshadow compact contains a blend of steel grey, white and charcoal black, which will create a basic, soft grey smoky eye.

Don't forget to add lots of mascara. The new Vintage Bronze Phenomen'Eyes mascara has a dark green hue that's not too bright. In fact, when you put it on, it has a charcoal tint to it. The unique round brush will grab all the lashes and the formula doesn't smear.

The Vintage 2010 holiday makeup collection is now available at Sephora.com and Givenchybeauty.com.

A mirror signed by Givenchy? OK, that has to be THE most glam makeup case ever.

It's absolutely glamorous. It's not the real signature but a replica is just as nice!
