Guerlain Mirror Mirror Fall 2011 Makeup

Guerlain offers "Mirror Mirror," another stunning makeup collection for Fall 2011. Inspired by Audrey Hepburn's timeless beauty, the mood is all about big doe-like eyes, bold lips and a luminous complexion.

Their star product, the Écrin 4 Couleurs Eye Shadow Palette ($59.00), is absolutely gorgeous. Designed with fun and easy combinations, each of these nine color palettes feature four different textures (Iridescent, Matte, Velvet Satin and Metallic). I got a peek at the 04 Les Bois de Rose and 09 Les Noirs and fell in love with both right away. Application is extremely intuitive so there are no hard rules on how to use each shade.

As much as I adored the awesome Écrin 6 palette from last fall, this one is easier to navigate if you're not as confident with mixing and matching shades. The 09 Les Noirs is a superb smoky eye palette if you want a lot of black, charcoal and gun metal gray - everything is tempered with a light pink champagne shade. The 04 Les Bois de Rose is a bit trickier to master but it can be a wonderful neutral option for fair complexions. As usual, the ultra silky texture makes it so darn easy to blend things together.

Guerlain's new Fall 2011 collection is now available at Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Sephora, Bloomingdales and Bergdorf Goodman.
