Guerlain Rouge Automatique
March 30, 2011 As a beauty innovator Guerlain has produced cult hits like the Rouge G lipstick. Inspired by their 1936 lipstick packaging, their newly revamped Rouge Automatique pays homage to the legendary Art Deco design by creating a new formula and lipstick tube.

With a single push of your thumb you can apply lipstick with just one hand. The sleek gold chamber doesn't have a cap, so all you need to do is push the button down to reveal the gorgeous lipstick. It's elegant, glamorous and fun to use.
The luxe shine formula offers long-lasting, full-coverage color and the weightless texture is like a second skin. It also doesn't dry up your lips. The 25 shades (beige, pinks, oranges, and reds) are also named after famous Guerlain scents. This lipstick also contains a non-opaque Cristal Pigment that offers pure, luminous color saturation. I love shade 164 Chamade, a cheerful raspberry pink.

Rouge Automatique will be available on April 1 at Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Bergdorf Goodman.
For editorial consideration, review samples were provided for this post.

I, too, love lipstick holders like this. So convenient. Just move the button and up pops a bright, beautiful color. Now, that's magic. ;)
I'm so stoked that they revived this design/function. The new formula and colors are also lovely.
