Lancôme Hypnose Doll Lashes Mascara
September 26, 2011 As someone with short lashes, I could definitely use some assistance in improving length and definition. I tried the Lancome Hypnose Doll Lashes Mascara and was quite happy with the results. The formula went on smoothly (like buttah!) and didn't feel dry.
I could layer on 3 coats with nary a clump and there wasn't any tacky sensation after it had dried. I had it on for over six hours and didn't see any flaking nor smudging - a success in my book. I also wore it on a very hot day so I was surprised that it stayed put. The cone-shaped wand also grabbed all the little inner lashes, which was a great bonus.
The best part of all? I didn't even use an eyelash curler and it actually curled and lifted my lashes into a flirty flare out. It's not a dramatic look but I liked it a lot. It didn't really volumize them too much but I'm just happy they looked longer and way more defined. More importantly, the lightweight mascara washed off easily with warm water and regular makeup remover (liquid or gel, no need for cleansing oil).
