NARS Spring 2013 Makeup

As the leader in fierce colors, the spring 2013 makeup collection from NARS is filled with lots of bold shades. Think of bright blue, parakeet green, orange and deep reds, and you'll get the picture.

I'm not as brave with such strong hues, so I opted for the limited edition Corcovado Soft Touch Shadow Pencil. The 24 karat gold is very flattering on warm skin tones, lighting up the eyes with a soft, pretty glow. 

Alas, the shimmery formula does crease a bit after a couple hours, so primer is crucial. I use it mostly as an eyeliner but you can also set it with a powder eyeshadow to amp up the staying power.

The Cythere Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil is a wearable lip color for spring. The metallic champagne color has a hint of bronze, giving it a sexy glint for the lips.
