NY Fashion Week 2012: NARS for Thakoon

At the Thakoon Fall 2012 runway show, bold lips were the highlight of the NARS look. “The collection is a romantic cliché of something old New York – Upper East Side in the 1980s..but with a quirky twist,” said designer Thakoon Panichgul. “It’s reminiscent of the past but still feels modern.”

“Thakoon wanted to focus on the lip this season,” said NARS makeup artist Diane Kendal. “It’s a fuchsia pink, which is not an obvious color for a bold lip. We wanted to play with color, and it ends up making the whole look so interesting.”
