Valrhona Holiday Chocolate

Valrhona has never disappointed me with their superb chocolates. The venerable French chocolate company has launched two special holiday gift boxes to please the most discerning chocolate connoisseur.

The limited edition Holiday Truffle Gift Box ($29.99) contains 16 exquisite square shaped truffles. Made with the lovely Grand Cru Caraïbe 66% cacao beans, these extremely delectable dark chocolate confections will make a big splash at your holiday soirée. They're also perfect as a gourmet hostess gift. If you're lucky enough to get these as a gift, your taste buds will reach nirvana.

For more heavenly chocolate bliss, the Holiday Dark Chocolate Grands Crus box ($29.99) is filled with 16 special dark chocolate bonbons. These amazing chocolates are made with four distinctive Valrhona Grands Crus cacao: 64% Manjari, 85% Abinao, 68% Nyangbo and the new 62% Macaé from Brazil. Their flavor profiles range from warm and fruity to powerful and tannic. It's quite hard to restrain yourself to just one bonbon. You really won't be able to resist these glorious temptations.

If I bought these for a hostess gift, I'd better buy them on my way to my hostess' house. Otherwise, if they were in my house any longer, I'd be eating them all! ;)

I don't blame you! I've already gobbled up quite a few bonbons. I don't see them lasting for the rest of the week.
