Armani Holiday 2012 Makeup Palettes

Giorgio Armani Beauty keeps it fairly simple by offering two makeup palettes for the holiday 2012 season. This is the first time they included a lip color within the luxurious compact.

Palette #1 is a neutral harmony for everyday use. The top tier is blinged out with a beige face shimmer powder, but I also use it for the décolleté area. The bottom tier contains two satin eyeshadows (taupe & light taupe); they have a slight shimmer to it, but it's not too obvious. Armani always has excellent eyeshadow texture and these are so finely milled that they glide on like silk. A sheer, barely-there beige lip wax is included to complete the nude look.

Those who want a bit more drama will opt for the second palette. This one contains a pale snow shimmer on top and two gray eyeshadows on the bottom. The bright red lip wax is the star of the show, lending an easy-to-achieve sophistication for busy ladies everywhere.
