Dolce & Gabbana Perfect Luminous Liquid Foundation

As the first liquid foundation created for the Dolce & Gabbana makeup line, I was naturally curious about their Perfect Luminous Liquid Foundation. Their luxe formula promises a dewy and radiant complexion, so I couldn't wait to try it out.

Illuminating particles capture light rays to flatter the skin, setting off a glowing-from-within effect. For once I didn't have that many zits to cover up, so I didn't need much product - just one quick pump was plenty. The creamy texture felt rich to me at first, but as I blended it out it felt super lightweight and the coverage looked very natural. I tried Natural Glow 100, which seemed to more or less match my skin. Upon application it looked like it might be a teensy bit too pale, but after about 20-30 minutes the color settled in perfectly.

I can see this moisturizing foundation being ideal for dry skin types. For those living in Asia, there are three special shades developed for that particular market (lucky you!). I had wanted to check out those colors, but alas, it's not available here.
