Marie Veronique Moisturizing Face Screen Extra Light Tint

I didn't realize that Marie Veronique Organics had released an Extra Light Tint for their popular Everyday Sheer Coverage SPF 20 (formerly named Moisturizing Face Screen). In the past I was in between Light and Medium and was blending them together for the correct coverage. This new tint is supposed to be made for folks who don't want any color, so I decided to give it a try.

Listed as one of EWG's top ten moisturizers with SPF, MVO is known for clean skin care. Free of nano technology and chemicals, this is as good as it gets. This extra light tint still has a great matte finish (I see less pores!) and evens out some redness. It does have an obvious pale sheen upon application, but after a 30-minute wait the color disappeared for the most part. I wonder if it would work better if I mixed in a tiny bit of my day cream?

So nice to see the options of sunscreens without chemicals in them. And the lighter the better, as I hate goopy, heavy sunscreens.

Oh I can't stand greasy SPF lotions either. This one is very matte!
