When asked to showcase things that get me excited about fashion, I couldn't wait to hand pick some lovely things that I adore. Like the Intel Ultrabook™, these selections are timeless star performers.

For example, this Betsey Johnson faux pearl rhinestone bracelet adds plenty of bling without overwhelming the entire ensemble. This statement accessory works day to night and can spruce up a casual jeans-and-tee look within seconds.

Emulating what sophisticated French women do everyday, my philosophy is all about accessorizing well. These Vouelle open-toe ballet flats (from Paris, bien sur!) add tons of sizzle to a summer outfit.

I wish San Francisco folks wore more hats. This feminine one is adorable for year-round. It's a touch of whimsy without being too girlish.

Speaking of whimsical accents, how adorable is this owl ring? Makes me wanna get one! The rhinestones making up the body killed me.

I'm also inspired by classic, elegant frocks with a modern twist. The faux leopard print collar on this simple, vintage-inspired dress takes things up a notch without going crazy. Throw on a cardigan and it's afternoon tea time with some friends!

For something that really stands out, these patent leather strappy heels with brass studs on top of multi-colored dots are so cute.

Bold graphics adds a pop of color on this headband. I wear this when I'm in a retro mood.

Dainty and intricate, this gold filigree necklace is perfect for a romantic dinner date.

As for handbags, you can't go wrong with a black leather one for daily use. My go-to workhorse is this Marc by Marc Jacobs Classic Q Fran tote.

We're famous for the "June Gloom" weather here and this month is even worse - the last several days were downright wintry. Bright red ballerinas add a much-needed cheer to this dreary summer.
