Shiseido Shimmering Cream Eye Color & Shimmering Rouge

I haven't worn Shiseido makeup since college, so I was excited to test a couple items from their spring 2012 collection. The Shimmering Cream Eye Color really caught my eye. Inspired by artistic director Dick Page’s photography, they have three new shades for this season: Ice (BL215), Sunshower (OR313) and Pale Shell (PK214). I love Ice - the icy blue has an understated shimmer with a tinge of gray, making it perfect for spring and summer.

The ultra lightweight cream eye shadow has a radiant, crease-free finish that maintains its freshness for up to 16 hours. You can easily use your fingertip for a smooth application and your lids are hydrated with Super Hydro-Wrap Vitalizing DE. I just love the texture - it feels like butter.

The Shimmering Rouge lipsticks are some of the most comfortable ones I've tried lately. The sheer, buildable colors are filled with Super Bio-Yeast Extract to promote collagen production while hyaluronic acid maintains skin's resilience. It also contains the patented Photo Smoothing Pearl to enhance lip fullness. The Temptress (RD320) shade is a warm, gorgeous burnt red with pearly bronze glints.

The ice blue shadow looks almost like a Tiffany blue. And what girl doesn't like that? :)

It does look like a Tiffany blue in the pot, but when you apply it on the lid it has a slight gray sheen to it. It really depends on the lighting.
